Adult Leagues

BCRC offers four different types of adult leagues throughout the year. Discover which is right for you.

 
 

In House Leagues

For Men's Singles/Doubles and Women's Doubles, offered in 3 seasonal sessions: Fall/Winter, Spring and Summer. Sessions run anywhere from 10-15 weeks with options for playing levels from 2.5 to 4.0. All in-house leagues are pre-paid at the beginning of the session and the club provides balls for each match.

FRIDAY NIGHT MIXED DOUBLES 

For all levels, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm every Friday night. Sign up is week to week and pay as you go.

USTA Travel Teams  

Both Men's and Women's, offered in 2 seasons:

  • Spring:  mid-April though June, for all levels 2.5 through 5.0
  • Winter:  November through mid-March, for USTA Mixed Doubles 7.0 or 8.0 (combined team levels) 

Participation in USTA leagues requires an official NTRP rating as well as membership in the United States Tennis Association. For more information on how to join USTA, league standings, rating, general characteristics of NTRP playing levels, etc. visit USTA Middle States Section.

Women's Buxmont Travel "A" and "B" Teams

Buxmont is an inter-club league in which area tennis facilities compete against each other. Playing season is early September through mid-April.

  • Two "B" leagues - 3.0 to 4.0 level - Monday home matches at 12noon, away match times vary.
  • Two "A" leagues - 3.5 to 5.0 level - Friday home matches at 12noon, away match times vary.

Matches consist of six courts of doubles; teams include 12 rostered players and substitutes.

 

Junior  Leagues

Interested in Leagues and Matchplay for Juniors?  

 

BCRC offers 2 sessions of Intermediate to Advanced Junior leagues: 

  • Mid-September through mid-December
  • January through mid-March

 

Leagues are played Saturday afternoons. Junior players participate in singles matches 1 hour in length. For more information, contact Todd Dlugosz, Director of Adult/Junior League Development: 215-493-5666.
